East of Marbella town the coast becomes greener and more relaxed. Elviria and Las Chapas stretch from Río Real to Cabopino, with pine woods, protected dunes and some of the widest beaches in the municipality.
Life here is built around the beach: long stretches of sand with well-known beach clubs, the protected dunes of Artola beside the small marina of Cabopino, and pine woods that keep the area green and quiet. Elviria has its own shopping centre, restaurants and international schools nearby, so daily life does not depend on driving into town.
There is something for most budgets: apartments and penthouses in complexes close to the beach, townhouses, and villas in established areas such as Las Chapas, Hacienda Las Chapas and Los Monteros. On the hills, Altos de los Monteros and Elviria Hills offer villas and apartments with wide sea views, and several new developments have appeared in recent years.
Families who want beach, school and space; buyers who prefer a calmer setting than central Marbella; and anyone who flies often, as Málaga airport is closer than from the west of Marbella.
On the east side of the municipality of Marbella, between Río Real and Cabopino, roughly ten to fifteen kilometres from the town centre.
Yes. It has shops, services and international schools nearby, and its beaches and pine woods make it one of the most family-friendly parts of Marbella.
