Puerto Banús is the most recognisable address on the Costa del Sol: a marina lined with yachts, designer boutiques and restaurants, with long sandy beaches on both sides and the mountain of La Concha behind it.

The lifestyle

Life here happens on foot. Morning coffee by the boats, the beach a few minutes away, and dinner without getting in the car. Summer is lively, with beach clubs and nightlife at full pace; from October to May the port is calmer and feels like a neighbourhood again. The seafront promenade connects Banús with Marbella to the east and San Pedro to the west, flat and walkable the whole way.

What you can buy

The market is mostly apartments and penthouses. Frontline buildings around the marina and on the beach are the most sought after, and many of the older ones have been fully refurbished inside. A short walk back from the port you find quieter gated communities with gardens and pools, and on the edges, towards Nueva Andalucía, townhouses and villas.

Who it suits

Buyers who want a lock-up-and-leave home with everything on the doorstep, and investors looking at rental demand, which is among the strongest on the coast in high season. If you want space, silence and a large garden, Nueva Andalucía or the Golden Mile next door will suit you better.
